Spring 2027 Pelvic Rehab Fertility Specialist (PRFS™) Certification Cohort

The Next Generation of Fertility Care Needs More Than IVF, It Needs Qualified Providers.

Transform Lives, Elevate Your Practice, and Become a Leader in Fertility and Pelvic Health.

Spring 2027 Cohort: January 26 – April 6, 2027

Infertility is not a niche problem.

Approximately 1 in 6 people worldwide will experience infertility in their lifetime. In the United States, the CDC reports that 1 in 5 married women ages 15–49 with no prior births are unable to become pregnant after one year of trying.

And yet, access to comprehensive fertility care remains deeply limited.

For many patients, IVF and other assisted reproductive technologies may be part of their fertility journey. For others, IVF may not be the appropriate first step or may never become part of their treatment plan. And for millions of people around the world, advanced fertility treatment remains financially or geographically inaccessible altogether.

What patients need is a stronger continuum of fertility care.

They need providers who understand the menstrual cycle beyond the date of the last period. Providers who can recognize the intersection of reproductive health, pelvic health, endocrine and metabolic factors, surgical history, pain, sexual function, lifestyle, and whole-body health. Providers who know what belongs within their scope, what warrants further investigation, and when interdisciplinary referral is necessary.

There is an urgent need for healthcare professionals trained to help fill this gap.

That is why PRFS™ exists.

Welcome to PRFS™

The Pelvic Rehab Fertility Specialist (PRFS™) Certification Program is an advanced fertility rehabilitation training and certification program for healthcare professionals who want to deepen their understanding of reproductive health and confidently integrate fertility-focused care into clinical practice.

Created by Dr. Oluwayeni Abraham, pelvic health physical therapist, fertility rehabilitation educator, and founder of Triggered Academy, PRFS™ bridges the gap between pelvic rehabilitation and the broader fertility-care continuum.

This is not an IVF course.

It is not a weekend introduction to fertility.

And it is not a collection of techniques taught without clinical context.

PRFS™ was built to develop clinicians who can think critically about the fertility patient, understand the multiple systems influencing reproductive health, recognize where rehabilitation may contribute to care, and collaborate intelligently with the larger fertility team.

The PRFS™ curriculum and certification are trademarked and legally protected to preserve the intellectual property, educational standards, and clinical integrity of the program.

Who Is PRFS™ For?

PRFS™ is designed for licensed healthcare professionals working in pelvic, reproductive, women's, or fertility-related healthcare, including:

  • Physical therapists

  • Occupational therapists

  • Nurse practitioners

  • Physician assistants

  • Physicians

  • Other qualified and licensed clinical professionals whose scope of practice intersects with reproductive and women's health

The program is designed for clinicians who want more than surface-level fertility education and are ready to understand the complexity of these patients at a deeper clinical level.

A Recognized Specialty Certification

After successfully completing all PRFS™ requirements, graduates earn the designation PRFS™, identifying advanced training in pelvic rehabilitation and fertility care.

The Gap We Are Training You to Fill

The fertility-care landscape is changing.

Infertility affects approximately 17.5% of adults globally during their lifetime, yet access to fertility services remains profoundly unequal. Even in the United States, economic, geographic, insurance, racial, and other disparities continue to affect who receives fertility care.

Fertility treatment also cannot begin and end with IVF.

Patients may enter our clinics with endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, pelvic or abdominal surgical histories, painful intercourse, pelvic pain, menstrual abnormalities, metabolic or endocrine concerns, recurrent pregnancy loss, male-factor considerations, or years of unexplained symptoms.

Some will eventually pursue assisted reproductive technology.

Some will not.

Some will not have access to it.

Regardless of their pathway, they deserve clinicians who understand fertility and can participate responsibly in an interdisciplinary model of care.

We need more qualified providers who can stand in that gap.

PRFS™ was created to train them.

Continued Professional Community

Your education does not end when the 10-week cohort ends. PRFS™ graduates enter a professional community with continued opportunities for case discussion, continuing education, advanced training, and professional collaboration.

Spring 2027 Cohort

Cohort Dates: January 26 – April 6, 2027
Duration: 10 instructional weeks
Format: Hybrid
Spring Break: No live cohort instruction March 16, 2027 (this extends the total course timeline to 11 weeks due to this break)
In-Person Lab: Completed within 12 months following the cohort completition.

Important Technology Requirement

Access to Google Classroom using a personal Gmail account is mandatory.

Your Google Classroom email must be a personal Gmail address and cannot be connected exclusively to a workplace or organizational domain. This is required for reliable access to the PRFS™ learning platform and course materials.

Please ensure you have an active personal Gmail account before the cohort begins.

Approximately 4 weeks before the cohort begins, enrolled participants will begin receiving information regarding course-platform access, pre-course materials, and cohort preparation.

Your Path to PRFS™ Certification

PRFS™ certification is earned through a four-part process designed to protect the educational and clinical standards of the specialty.

1. Complete the 10-Week PRFS™ Cohort

Participate in the Spring 2027 curriculum and complete the required educational components.

2. Complete an Approved In-Person Lab

Your in-person laboratory experience must be completed within 12 months of your PRFS™ cohort.

The lab may be completed before, during, or after the online cohort.

After enrolling in PRFS™, you will receive instructions for registering for an eligible lab date.

Your qualifying in-person lab is included with PRFS™ enrollment and is currently a $697 value.

Because lab capacity is limited, participants are strongly encouraged to schedule their laboratory experience early rather than waiting until the end of their 12-month eligibility period. In special circumstances such as childbirth or illness, this can be lengthened on a case by case basis.

3. Complete the PRFS™ Post-Test

Following completion of the cohort, participants complete a comprehensive post-test designed to assess understanding and retention of the material taught throughout the program.

The post-test must be completed within the designated 7 day testing period.

4. Submit Your Case Study

The final component of certification is submission of an approved clinical case study.

Participants have 12 months following completion of the cohort to satisfy the case-study requirement.

Detailed case-study expectations, documentation requirements, and submission instructions will be provided during the program.

Become a Pelvic Rehab Fertility Specialist™

Once all four requirements have been successfully completed, participants will receive their PRFS™ certification and may use the PRFS™ designation following their primary professional credentials, subject to the program's certification and trademark requirements.

These standards exist for a reason.

As fertility rehabilitation grows, maintaining the integrity of the specialty requires clinicians who have demonstrated both knowledge and clinical application. Certification requirements are therefore applied consistently, with accommodations considered only in documented extenuating circumstances.

This Field Needs More of Us.

Millions of people are navigating infertility.

Many spend years moving between providers searching for answers. Many cannot access advanced fertility treatment. Others receive fertility treatment while simultaneously managing pain, pelvic dysfunction, surgical recovery, endometriosis, metabolic concerns, sexual dysfunction, and other issues that require care beyond an embryo transfer.

Pelvic rehabilitation has an important role within that larger ecosystem.

But we cannot expand access to high-quality fertility rehabilitation without clinicians who are properly trained to provide it.

If you have been looking for the education that allows you to understand fertility patients differently, this is it.

Join the Spring 2027 PRFS™ cohort and become part of the growing generation of clinicians helping define what comprehensive fertility care can look like.

Amanda, OT

"Dr.Yeni is an outstanding instructor, I really enjoyed how she had other experts/providers who were a part of the course. This was such a great experience"

Lilly, DPT

I was really impressed by the course, this is by far the most valuable course I have taken and the information taught has improved the way I practice beyond fertility patients

Kelly, DPT

My favorite part were the live study halls that Dr.Yeni hosted. She really has a way of teaching in a simple and clinically applicable way.

Odell, DPT

I cannot get enough of Dr.Yeni and this fertility stuff. This was an insane class, and a lot of the information I was able to apply to my practice in real time so I could ask questions.

Rebecca, DPT

I was not expecting the course to be so transformative to the way I treat. Even though it is for fertility patients, I have changed the way I am treating all pelvic patients. I honestly think the course is much more valuable than I even paid and I cannot thank Dr.Yeni enough for pioneering this area in our field.
